Flat gaskets
Flat gaskets are made from elastomer plates and construction plastics in any shape and size. They are characterised by high chemical and temperature resistance and can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries thanks to their FDA approval.
Advantages:
high chemical resistance
high temperature resistance
low permeability
no fibres and fillers (asbestos-free)
FDA approval
Primarily used for:
flange seals for transmission installations in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries
sealing of manholes
sealing of covers on vacuum pumps
for reactors and chemical installations.

Rubber-steel gaskets are used wherever safe sealing is required for both traditional and specialised industrial installations, for liquid and for gas media. They are used for maximum leakage reduction, and perform well where work is done at low surface pressures and relatively low temperatures. The steel support ring prevents the gasket from blowing out and provides an increase in stability, making them easier to handle, even under difficult installation conditions.
Rubber-steel gaskets can be used in combination with gaskets made of different materials, from steel to plastic. They are supplied in a large range of profiles and dimensions. The products offered comply with the applicable standards according to EN and ANSI. Rubber-steel gaskets are manufactured from different types of rubber, depending on the application: NBR, EPDM, FKM.
Rubber-steel gaskets are characterised by an extremely good combination of rubber and metal ring, resulting in a robust and safe sealing product. They are characterised by a number of important advantages, such as easy handling, high strength and wide sealing capability. These seals guarantee tightness in combination with uneven or small adhesions.
Elastomeric (rubber-steel) gaskets can be supplied certified in accordance with the German Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft).
