Special and shaped gaskets
Specialty gaskets are flat gaskets or gaskets of any cross-section that can be used to seal lids, covers and other specialised joints in all industries. They can be made either from elastomer plates, cords of any cross-section or engineering plastics. They are formed by extrusion, moulding and vulcanisation. They are characterised by high chemical and temperature resistance and a variety of applications. Thanks to their FDA approval, they can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Advantages:
high chemical resistance
high temperature resistance
low permeability
various and free-form
various gasket cross-sections
no fibres and fillers (asbestos-free)
wide range of product colours available (RAL)
FDA approval
Primarily used for:
flange seals for distribution installations in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, automotive, white goods industries
sealing of manholes
sealing of covers and shields
for reactors and chemical installations.
