Special and shaped gaskets

Specialty gaskets are flat gaskets or gaskets of any cross-section that can be used to seal lids, covers and other specialised joints in all industries. They can be made either from elastomer plates, cords of any cross-section or engineering plastics. They are formed by extrusion, moulding and vulcanisation. They are characterised by high chemical and temperature resistance and a variety of applications. Thanks to their FDA approval, they can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Advantages:

  • high chemical resistance

  • high temperature resistance

  • low permeability

  • various and free-form

  • various gasket cross-sections

  • no fibres and fillers (asbestos-free)

  • wide range of product colours available (RAL)

  • FDA approval

Primarily used for:

  • flange seals for distribution installations in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, automotive, white goods industries

  • sealing of manholes

  • sealing of covers and shields

  • for reactors and chemical installations.
